She continued her education at Phillips Jr. College with a Associate degree in Business Administration/Accounting and Copiah-Lincoln Community College. Takita was employed in the Office of Vikramaditya Dulam, MD as a medical billing and coding specialist and with Wal-Mart Department Store as a customer service representative. Miss Smith attended various churches throughout the area where she sang in many choirs. Takita was a member of Phi Beta Lambda. Takita enjoyed cooking, traveling, and surfing the internet.
