WILSON -- Graveside funeral services for Faye Rene 'Parr' Bailey, 77, Ardmore, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Reck Cemetery with Lloyd T. Bailey officiating.

Mrs. Bailey died Feb. 6, 1999, at the Irving Baylor Medical Center, Irving, Texas. She was born Jan. 26, 1922, south of Wilson, to William J. and Margaret Ruth "Qualls" Parr.

Raised in the Wilson area, the lifelong resident married Mackie DeRoy Bailey in 1938, at Wilson. He preceded her in death on July 4, 1980. Shortly after his death she moved to Ardmore where she was employed by K-Mart and later as a desk clerk at Best Western. For the past three months she had lived with a daughter in Fort Worth, Texas. She was also preceded by both her parents, her father, on Sept. 19, 1970; and mother, June 18, 1998.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jody and Roger Edming, Fort Worth; a granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Sheree and David Norman, and grandson, John Michael Norman, all of Ardmore; three brothers, Kerby Parr, also Ardmore, Bill Parr of Ada, and Bobby Parr of Portland, Ore.

Bearers will be John Mayo, Phillip Herr, Richard Boone, Chuck Rossiter, David Norman and Kenneth Hensley. Honorary bearer is John Michael Norman.

Alexander Funeral Home, Wilson, will direct services.
