Lois Laverne Rook, 84, passed away Tuesday morning, November 7, 2017, in Franklin, TN. Born August 24, 1933, in Roanoke, VA, she is a daughter of the late Reverend Clon C. and Pearl Morris Brown. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Rev. Billy Joe Rook on April 6, 2017. Survivors include their children, BJ Rook, Jr. and wife Michele of Franklin, TN, and Jennifer May and husband Scott of Beaufort, SC; two brothers, Willard B. Brown and Clon C. Brown, Jr.; one sister, Delorus Homer; and five grandchildren. Her sister, Lorene Jemison, and brother, Odell Brown, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2017, at Archdale Pilgrim Holiness Church with Pastor Derald Hunt officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the Church. Interment will follow at Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery.
