Graveside services for Mary Forte Cooney, 86, of Jacksonville, Fla., formerly of Murfreesboro, who died Saturday, Sept. 13, in Jacksonville at Orange Grove Park Medical Center, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Wiatt Funk officiating.

Born in Davidson County, she was a daughter of the late Dominico and Elizabeth Eggstein Forte, and the widow of Martin Fryar Cooney, who died in 1968.

She is survived by three daughters, Patricia Williamson, Jacksonville, Jean McDonald, California, Clair Witt, Virginia; nine grandchildren; and great grandchildren.

She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. She had been an owner of Home Bakery on the Square in Murfreesboro.

Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
