Junior Lee Dillard was born on March 2, 1929 to Arfus and Josie Dillard in Hominy, Oklahoma.

He had one sister and brother -in-law, Dorothy Mae and Doyle Sorrels of Clayton, Ok, and one brother and sister-in-law, John and Dorothy Dillard of TenSleep Wyoming. He married Delorse Wade on October 13, 1947 in Paris, Texas. They were married 71 years. They had seven children; Bobbie, Teddy, Sharla, Lecia, Dennis, Gail and Karla. Jr. was a hard working family man, upon returning from California, he opened Dillard and Son's Garage in 1969. Later going into business with Dale Coker. Junior and Delorse bought 10 acres in the country and decided to settle down there. He and Delorse built their dream home in the woods. He loved hunting and fishing, especially going to Wyoming to fish for rainbow trout with his brother John. He loved to plant a big garden every year and give away a lot of tomatoes. Jr. played the guitar and fiddle but not many people knew that about him. He loved to listen to country music and his favorite was Marty Robbins. He will be dearly missed.

Junior is survived by his children, Sharla Quick of Las Vegas, Nevada, Lecia Barnett of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, Dennis Dillard of Clayton, Oklahoma, Gail Morrison of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Karla Peachey of Gulf Breeze, Florida; brother, John Dillard of TenSleep, Wyoming; eleven grandchildren, and many great and great great grandchildren.

Junior is preceded in death by his wife, Delorse; sister, Dorothy Mae Sorrels; parents, Arf and Josie Dillard; son, Bobbie Dillard, and son, Teddy Dillard.

Services will be on Friday, April 5 at 2:00PM at Burkhart Funeral Home Chapel in Clayton, Oklahoma with Bro. Jeff Little officiating. Interment will follow at A.L. Stephens cemetery in Clayton, Oklahoma.
