They were the parents of Harriot W. Morse. Her second marriage was to Mormon Lyman Homiston on December 19, 1841 in Salem, Essex, Massachusetts. During this marriage she was sealed to Brigham Young for time and eternity in Nauvoo on October 8, 1844.
She was slighted by Young upon his departure from Nauvoo. Later traveled to Utah with her husband to reconcile with Young and was rebuffed.
