Rosalie W. Smallwood entered her eternal rest in Jesus, her Savior, on April 2, 2019. She was born to Rev. Paul D. and Margaret T. White on March 6, 1928 in Eskridge, Kansas where her father pastored the Reformed Presbyterian Church. When she was 2 years old, her family moved to Bloomington, Indiana, where Rosalie developed a lifelong love of horses and basketball. In 1940, the family moved to Denver, Colorado. She graduated from South High School in Denver in 1946 and entered Geneva College that fall. She graduated from Geneva in 1950 with a degree in elementary education. On June 20, 1950, she married her college sweetheart, David S. Smallwood, and they settled in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, where they reared their four children. After Dave died on April 26, 1977, Rosalie entered the workforce, doing various jobs, such as managing a medical supply store, working at a Christian Conference Center, being a housemother at Grove City College, and teaching Bible at a Christian Day school. Rosalie taught Sunday School classes and Bible classes for over 60 years. To know Rosalie was to know these things: She loved people, she loved to talk, and she loved the Lord and His word. She recently quoted Psalm 18:35.

(Pamela) of Houston, Texas; Mark P. (Deborah) of Dover, New Hampshire; Bruce D. (Lisa) of DeForest, Wisconsin, and daughter Amy S. (Richard) King of Billings.
