Patsy A. “Pat” Jeffrey, 90, of Erie, died at 5:35 a.m., Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at the Guest Home Estates in Erie.

She was born November 2, 1928 in Frisco, Texas to James H. and Vivian (Paschal) Sanderson. As a young girl, Pat grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas where she attended school.

On October 26, 1945, she and Richard Jeffrey were married in Corpus Christi. Following his discharge, they moved to Erie. Pat worked at the Arkhaven Nursing Home in Erie from 1963 until retiring in 1993.

She was a member of the First Christian Church in Erie, the Red Hat Society, the Friendship Club and the Monday Study Club. Pat also attended the Erie Senior Center and delivered Meals on Wheels for 13 years. She was an avid reader, enjoyed working crossword puzzles, and sewing. Through the years, Pat made over 150 braided rugs which she gifted to her family and friends. She also collected cat figurines, music records, and loved watching birds at her feeder. Pat especially enjoyed sharing Wednesday movie night with her granddaughter, Amber.

Survivors include: two Sons, Dale Jeffrey (Darlene) and Mike (Kim); one Daughter, Diane (Darrel); nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and rwo great-great-grandchildren. and her cherished Cat, “Mr.”

She was preceded in death by her son, Lee Jeffrey, on April 21, 1973.

Following cremation, memorial graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., April 20, 2019, at East Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons.
