SULPHUR — Jackie A. Benoit, 57, died Saturday, May 15, 2004, in her residence.

She was a lifelong resident of Calcasieu Parish. Mrs. Benoit was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church of Moss Bluff.

Survivors include her husband, Andrew "Jerry" Benoit of Sulphur; three daughters, Tammy Bradberry and her husband, Keith, of Iowa, La., Tina Benoit and her husband, Eric, of Lake Charles and Crystal Benoit and her husband, Julian, of Houston; one stepson, Jerry Benoit and his wife, Kara, of Houston; seven grandchildren, Teresa, Nikolas, Jacob, Summer, Dylon, Drew and Zachary; one great-grandson, Hunter; four sisters, Gayle Richard of Jennings, Janice Long of Moss Bluff, Peggy Long of Huntsville, Ala., and Joan Long of Houston; one brother, Robert Long Jr. of Moss Bluff; and two godchildren, Jeffery Long and Marcella Joshlin. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Long Sr. and Viola Long Duplechin, and a sister, Mary Nell Long.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, from St. Theodore Catholic Church in Moss Bluff. Monsignor Charles Dubois will officiate. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1-10 p.m. today, with a rosary recited at 6 p.m., in the funeral home. Visitation will continue from 11 a.m. until time of services Tuesday in the church.
