at a Bangor Hospital.He was born in Milford maine,July 1931
,the son of Harold and Patricia(Martin)cox.Mr Cox served in the u.s.Navy during the Korean Conflict.he was a journeyman pipefitter and member of the LocalNo.321.he was a member of James W.Williams American Legion Post.12;the Brewer Eagles Club;and Bangor Elks Lodge. In addition to his Mother of Milford and his Wife,Phyllis of South Orrington,survivors include one son,Lester J.Cox Jr.of eddington;two daughters,Christine cox of Hollywood,Florida
;and Jeannette Cox of Bangor ;two brothers,James cox of Texas and Charlie Cox of Orone;three sisters,Lorraine Dunn of Old Town,Mary Campo of Unityand Paula Waldorf of Yuba City calif; two Grandsons,Dustin Arthur Cox and Travis Joseph Jacbo Cox;two grandaughters,Jenna Cox,and Desiree Cox;and one aunt,several nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by his father in 1985.Friends may call 6-8 pm.
tuesday at Foley Funeral Service;299 Union St. Bangor; where funeral services will be held 11 a,m,Thursday with the Rev.Robert t. Carlson,pastor of the east Orrington Congregational Church,officiating.Spring interment will be in Marston Cemetery.in Orrington,Maine.
