Sacred Heart Church was the scene Saturday, May 3, of the marriage of Miss Mary Catherine Launes, daughter of Mrs. Mabel Launes, 308 North Wyoming street, and Nicholas Grmoljez, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Grmoljez.

The Rev. Joseph Mavsar officiated at a nuptial high mass before an altar decorated with white summer blossoms and lighted tapers in candelabra.

Members of the choir sang the responses to the mass.

The bride, given in marriage by her uncle, Wilbur Bartlett of Helena, wore a handsome white satin gown of marquisette and satin combination. The close fitted bodice of lace was fashioned with sweetheart neckline and long tapering sleeves which extended into points over the wrists.

The skirt of the gown extended into a long train and the bride's fingertip length veil edged with lace fell in folds from a crown of seed pearls. She carried a white payer book with pink rose marker ending in long white satin streamers, a gift for her grandmother, Mrs. Adeline Warren of Helena.

Mrs. John Rowe and Mrs. William Rivera were bridesmaids and Miss Mary Elizabeth Riggins, maid of honor, William Grmoljez, a brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Patty Lynn Nordstrom, cousin of the bride, was flower girl. Ushers were John Banovich and William Rivera.

Following the ceremony, a breakfast was served at Green's for members of the bridal party and immediate relatives of the couple, numbering 45.

Early summer flowers ornamented the table which was centered with a four tiered wedding cake. A reception was held at the American Legion hall between the hours of 2 and 5 o'clock. A large number of friends called.

The couple left for a trip to Spokane and other Washington cities and is now at home at 318 East Granite. For traveling the bride wore a gray suit with navy blue accessories.
