THE PARIS NEWS, Friday, July 15, 1960, p. 2: “Mrs. B. G. Chandler. Mrs. B. G. Chandler, 85, who lived at 514 Brown Ave., died Thursday at 5:50 p.m. at Lamar Medical Center. She was taken there after fracturing her hip in fall at home, June 30. Service at Gene Roden & Sons chapel will be conducted by the Rev. W. E. Watson, Saturday at 10 a.m. and interment made in Meadowbrook Gardens, east of town. The former Miss Ida Mae Cornish, Mrs. Chandler was born in Missouri, July 18, 1875. Surviving are her husband and these children by a former marriage: J. R. Marchant and George Marchant, Bakersfeld, Calif.; Joe Marchant, Chlldress; Zeke Marchant, Amarillo; Mrs. Lloyd Tucker and Mrs. W. H. Williams, Paris; Mrs. Earl Clayton, Byers, and Mrs. Olan Scott, Odessa, and 11 grandchildren.”
