"Geneseo - Mrs John Walter Peake, formerly Miss Mary E. Totten, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wesley W. Totten of this village, died last Friday evening after a brief illness in the Onondaga general hospital at Syracuse. Mrs. Peake was born in Geneseo and resided here until her graduation from the Geneseo Normal, after which she taught in high school at Long Eddy. Besides her husband she is survived by a brother, William F. Totten, and sister, Mrs. J. W. Hotchkiss, both of this village, also a sister, Mrs. J. J. McCarthy of Cattaraugus. A high mass of requiem was held at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Syracuse Monday morning with burial in St. Mary's cemetery, Geneseo, Monday afternoon. Rev. Stephen J.
