She was born in Rowan County, KY, on March 8, 1955, and was a long-time resident of Kentucky. Her interests included antiquing and researching McCleese family genealogy. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse for 40 years, having worked at Sayre Christian Village in Lexington, KY.
She is survived by a daughter & son, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two brothers, a sister, and several nieces, nephews, cousins & extended family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved son - Travis Rye; four brothers - Robert, Paul, Kenneth & Donald McCleese; and two sisters - Francis & Dottie McCleese.
