Brenda was one of three children born to the late George and Maiken Coleman and was the beloved wife of Damon Oswald for over 17 years. Brenda will be forever remembered by her devoted family; her sister Shelley and husband Michael Roths, her son Jason Hyatt and grandson Aidan Hyatt, her son Carson Hyatt and his three grandchildren, her nephew and niece Scott Roths and Jennifer Boerema, and countless more friends and family who were blessed to know her. Brenda was predeceased by her brother Daniel Coleman.
Brenda was a graduate of Lakewood High School who loved camping and fishing in her native Colorado, especially her times at Grand Lake. Her second love was her extended family in her adopted town of Falkenberg, Sweden which was home to her mother’s side of the family. Her trips there in the past few years provided her a further love of family and her Swedish heritage. Most recently she found enjoyment in playing bingo with her new group of friends at the American Legion Post 178 in Lakewood.
A Funeral Service in memory of Brenda was held on April 12th, 2019 at the Aspen Mortuary in Lakewood CO. The interment followed at thr Golden Cemetery in Golden. After, was a gathering for the family and friends at the American Legion Post in Lakewood, CO.
May Brenda rest in peace.
