Roy Lee Phillips age 73, of the Paint Rock Community, departed this life on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born August 22, 1945 in Helenwood, Tennessee to the late Ewell Phillips and Helen Dobbs Phillips. He was of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant grandson, Isiah Ewell Phillips; mother and father-in-law, Lon and Edith Whaley; sisters-in-law, Charlene Phillips and Donna Whaley.

He is survived by the love of his life, Linda Whaley Phillips for 53 years; sons, Rick Phillips and Derek Phillips of the Paint Rock Community; (3) grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Zachary, Braxton and Jozee Phillips; several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 5:00 P.M., until time of funeral service at 7:00 P.M., Wednesday evening, April 17, 2019 in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Oneida, with Bro. Dean Barnes and Bro. Herb Smith officiating. Music will be provided by Sammy and Janet Yancey. Graveside service will be at 10:00 A.M., Thursday morning, April 18, 2019 in the Peaceful Rose Gardens in the Paint Rock Community.

Pallbearers will be, Ronnie Phillips, Donnie Phillips, Dennis Chambers, Steve Trammell, Stevie Davis and Jeff Griffith.
