Mrs. Kathryne Craig, 91, died Monday, April 7, 1997 at a local nursing home.
She was the wife of Horace Craig, who preceded her in death in 1983.
She had lived most recently with her daughter and son-in-law, Jeanne and Omar Kuschel of De Pere where she enjoyed being able to see her five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren frequently. -
Kathryne was born in Oshkosh, March 9, 1906, to Tom and Kate Keefe, the youngest of their seven children. When she and Horace were married in 1928, they moved to Green Bay. Jeanne, their only child, was born the next year.
They became members of Union Congregational Church and sang in the church choir together for many years. Kathryne was a sales person at Nau's and later Gately's. She also was a leader of the Girl Reserves Groups at the Y.W.C.A. Her life was filled with making life more fun for many people.
She will be sadly missed by all she touched, especially her family, Jeanne and Omar; grandchildren, Amy (Karl) Steinbrinck, Barbara (Alan) Mortensen, Mary (Keith) Taylor, Kathryne (Mebdi) Arradi-fcadeh, Andrew (Mary Kay) Kuschel; great-grandchildren, Kasey, Justin, and Erin; Alanna and Hannah; Andre' and Shane; Kayna; and Avery.
Friends may call at Union Congregational Church, 716 S. Madison Street, Green Bay, after 10 a.m. on Thursday until the time of service. Funeral service 11 a.m. Thursday at the church with Pastor Charles Mize officiating. Entombment in the shrine of the Good Sheperd Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established. The Cotter Funeral Home is assisting the family.
