Alexander Slaysman, Sr., a retired policeman, died Friday night at his home, 1808 North Regester street, from the infirmities of age. He was 79 years old and a native of Baltimore. He was retired 14 years ago, after more than 30 years' service in the Central District.
Five children survive--Alexander, Jr., Mahlon Slaysman, and three married daughters. Three sisters -- Mrs. Robert Brown, Mrs. Edward Price and Mrs. Virginia Larkins, also survive.
The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon from his home. Burial will be in Loudon Park Cemetery.
