HICKORY.

Harrison - Galloway.

Hickory, July 2. - A marriage of much interest to their many friends was that of Miss Inez Caraway to Mr. Granville Walter Harrison of Eupora, Miss., on Thursday evening at nine o'clock at the Hickory church, Dr. R. A. Venable, of Meridian officiating.

The interior of the church was especially attractive. Ropes of Shasta daises extending upward to a huge bouquet of daises at the rear of the altar, and downward to outer posts ranged on the sides served as the chief motif of decorations; greenery being massed in the back ground.

The pews near the entrance aisles were marked with bouquets of daisies and white ribbon while carpetinga of white around the altar and down the aisles emphasized the green of the shrubbery. Behind the choir railing, fashioned of evergreens and daisy ropes the piano was placed.

Professor Lundenburg, of Meridian sang "Just Because," and "The Magic of Your Eyes," after which Miss Kate Gallaspy played "Remembrance," with Mrs. Ellis Carraway playing the violin obligato.

To the strains of Mendelssohn's Wedding March the bride entered upon the arm of her father Dr. Wyatt C. Caraway, preceded by her maid of honor, Miss Lucile Follis, of Grand Junction, Tenn. Down the opposite aisle entered the groom accompanied by his best man, his brother, Mr. Travis Harrison, of Eupora, Miss.

Miss Follis was gowned in embroidered silk filet and flesh colored Georgette crepe over pink satin, and wore a lacy pink hat with flat trimmings of roses and wheat and carried a bouquet of pink carnations.

The bride was robed in heavy wavy duchess satin and tulle with qualities of pearls. Her veil, of tulle was especially beconing arranged in Dutch effect around the faces and she carried a bouquet of bride's roses and valley lillies.

Immediately after the ceremony relatives and intimate friends were received in the home of the bride's parents where light refreshments were served. Miss Annie Pearl Walton presided at the punch bowl.

The bride and groom left at once for New Orleans and other points of interest; after the first of September they will be at home at 735 Oak street, Natchez, Miss.

The out-of-town guests present were Misses Carrie Kiince, Kate Gallaspy, Georgia Rowzie and Ida Nell McLemore, of Union, Miss Miss Lucile Follis, of Grand Junction, Tenn., Miss Annie Pearl Walton, of Newton, Mr. W. E. Caraway, of Decatur, Mr. G. W. Harrison, father of the groom, Mr. and Mrs. Travis Harrison and Mrs. O'Neil, of Eupora, Mrs. Alexander and Miss Moore, of Meridian.
