Mildred "Millie" Edwards, 89, Green Bay, died Sunday, May 2, 2010, surrounded by family.
Born in Green Bay, Feb. 4, 1921, she is the daughter of the late Jacob and Kathyrn (Legener) Baetsen.
Millie married Elwin Edwards, June 20, 1942, at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral and he preceded her in death May 16, 2009.
She was a longtime member of Annunciation Catholic Church. Millie is fondly remembered for the love she has given to her children and grandchildren.
Millie is survived by two sons, James (Anne) Edwards and Richard (Patricia) Edwards; nine grandchildren, Tracy (Tom) Conrad, Nicole Kaste, Justin Edwards, Michelle Boy, Mark (Marsha) Edwards, Cheryl Pollock, Scott Jones, Cory Jones, and Todd Jones; nine great-grandchildren, Ethan, Sophia, Alex, Zach, Kate, Audrey, Alexandria "Alex", Brittney, Cody, and Jaiden; sister, Yvonne Srenaski; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elwin; and daughter, Patricia Jones; sister, Leatrice Deuster; brother, Carlton Baetsen.
Visitation at MALCORE (West) Funeral Home, 1530 West Mason Street, Green Bay, Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. Parish wake service 7 p.m. Friday's visitation will continue at Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 401 Gray Street, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev.
