David Bryan Bean, 46, of Nicoma Park, OK. passed away peacefully on April 17, 2019. He was born to Frank and Vicki Bean on August 19, 1972. He graduated from Choctaw High School in 1990 and went on to obtain his A&P License from Metro Tech Aviation Career Center in 1991. This started his long career in aviation. He worked in Avionics in Colorado for a few years before coming home and securing employment at Tinker Air Force Base. He held a few different positions before settling down as an Electronics Mechanic for the majority of his 23-year career.
David worked hard and played hard. He was an avid OSU fan and enjoyed tailgating with family and friends. Everybody knew him as “Super Dave”. He enjoyed going to the lake to hunt, fish, camp, and jet ski. He loved his family and had a special bond with many nieces and nephews. David had tons of friends and was loved by so many people. He had a great sense of humor and an incredible outlook on life. David was born with physical challenges yet they never held him back and he never complained about anything. He was a positive person and an inspiration to all of us.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Bean Sr.; grandparents, Bob and Lorene Anthis, Elsie Alexander and Frank Bean and sister in law, Cindy Johnston. He is survived by his mother, Vicki Waldrip and stepfather, Harry Waldrip; 3 brothers, Jeff Johnston, Robbie Bean, Frank Bean and wife Joyce; sister, Heather Bryant and husband Sean; nephews, Kory Bean and wife Kaela, Seth Johnston, Kailen, Riley and Peyton Bryant; nieces, Kyli wood and husband, Tyler, Morgan Bean and fiancé, Ethan Watson, Elise Johnston and husband Daniel; great-nieces, Reese, Remi, and River wood, Raelyn Watson, and Julienne Puma; great-nephews, Khash and Kole Bean as well as many other relatives and friends.
