HE GAVE HIS LIFE IN THE SERVICE OF HIS COUNTRY.
Graduated from Hazel Green Academy in 1968; and drafted in March 1969 into military service. Served on a helicopter as a door gunner. Sent to Southeast Asia in September 1969 during the Vietnam War, but sadly killed while serving on his helicopter on May 11, 1970. He died of wounds received in military operations in the Republic of Vietnam against hostile foreign forces.
