Robert "Bob" 62 of Calhoun, MO passed away at his home on June 6, 2007. Services will be at the United Methodist Church in Shelton. Burial will be in the Shelton Cemetery. Officiant: the Reverend John Ewton

Bob was born March 4, 1945 in Limon, Colorado. He was the son of Rodney and Birdella (Dawson) Stevens. He was a member of the United Methodist Church. When he was growing up, he and his twin brother, Richard were acolytes at the Methodist Church. He received his education in Shelton. On July 5, 1963 he married Twylla Spellman. The couple lived near Kearney and later moved to Hastings and then to Grand Island. Bob worked for Northwestern Bell and AT&T WorldNet. Bob spent most of his time doing system administration work on the Global Messaging service network specializing in global email. While working for AT&T he was elected president of his Union. Bob worked for AT&T for twenty-five years.

Bob's hobbies included spending time with his family, fishing, hiking and playing pool in tournaments. His team won the Missouri State Pool Championship in 2001. In November 2000 he retired and purchased a home near Truman Lake. He enjoyed his home and stated that it was like living in the wilderness with the bluffs and lots of trees.

Survivors include two sons, Don and Mark and one daughter, Honey, two grandchildren, Danielle and Jordan; two sisters, Marilynn and Marjorie He is preceded in death by his parents, Rodney and Birdella (Dawson) Stevens, his twin brother, Richard and an infant brother George Edward.
