Haven F. Baer of 477 Eighth St, Clearfield, died in the Clearfield Hospital at 10:45 a.m. yesterday, June 10.
He was born at Port Matilda March 25, 1898, a son of George and Zora (Ofman) Baer. He was a former resident of Curwensville but had resided at Clearfield for the past 40 years.
He is survived by his wife, the former Ida Smith; a son, the Rev. Robert Baer of Reynoldsville; a daughter, Mrs. Duane (Sibbie) Rowles of Clearfield; eight grandchildren; one brother, Harold Baer of Tonawanda, N.Y.; and three sisters, Mrs. Lewis Taylor and Mrs. Raymond Diehl of Curwensville and Mrs. Maude Stonebraker, Brown's Mills, N.J.
He also leaves one aunt, Mrs. Orel Shugarts, Clearfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one child, one brother and two sisters.
Mr. Baer was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church of Clearfield.
Funeral services will be in the Fred B. Leavy Funeral Home Thursday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Bruce Bishop officiating. Burial will be made in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Friends may call in the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m., tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Thursday until time of services.
