Margaret Williams FORBES, 78, of Powells Point, died Wednesday, October 11 at Guardian Care Nursing Home.
Margaret was a native of Hendersonville and daughter of the late Thomas C. and Drucilla Brock WILLIAMS and the widow of Henry S. FORBES, JR.
Survivors include her sister, Estelle SOUTHWORTH of Norfolk, Va.; a niece, Mrs. Willie PERRY of Hendersonville; two nephews: Thomas C. WILLIAMS of Charleston, S.C. and Thomas SOUTHWORTH of Nashua, New Hampshire.
A memorial service was held in Twiford's memorial Chapel in Elizabeth City on Friday, Oct. 13 with Rev. John FORBES officiating. A private burial was at the Forbes Family Cemetery in Riddle, Camden Co, NC.
