Tim Burchfield passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019.
Tim was born in Medford, Oregon on July 14, 1955 to Bruce and Bessie Burchfield. He attended school in Medford, graduating from Medford Senior High School. He went to Southern Oregon State College and graduated with a degree in Business and a minor in Computer Science.
Tim went to work for the Jackson County Assessor's office, where he worked for 20 years as a computer programmer.
His most recent position was with Table Rock Fellowship, the church he attended for almost 20 years, where he worked as the church's I.T. manager. Tim filled a lot of roles at Table Rock, including web designer and audio visual engineer.
Tim is survived by his daughter, Dana Goodnow, his son, Evan Burchfield, his grandson, Gabriel Burchfield, and his sister, Doris Robinson.
One of Tim's passions was to help people overseas through mission trips with his church. He visited an orphanage in Haiti several times, helping them with their building programs and providing computer assistance. He also went on trips to the Dominican Republic and Mexico. His last trip was to Uganda in 2016.
Tim will be greatly missed by his family, coworkers, his relatives across the Northwest, and his church family at Table Rock.
A celebration of Tim's life will be held on Sunday, April 28th, at 3PM at Table Rock Fellowship, 3610 North Pacific Highway, in Medford. There will be a potluck afterward. Casual dress, as Tim preferred.
