Funeral services for Charles F. Clark, 83, of Greenfield, who died Saturday in his home following a three-year illness, were held this afternoon at 1 o'clock in the home with Rev. George K. Carter, retired minister of the First Congregational church, officiating, assisted by Rev. Warren C. Campbell, pastor of the church. Burial was in Morningside Cemetery in Brattleboro, Vt.
Mr. Clark was born in Halifax, Vt., the son of Aaron and Mary (Gleason) Clark, and until retirement 21 years ago had been a lumber dealer in Halifax. He leaves is wife, the former Mary T. Stone; a son, Harry E. of Brattleboro, Vt.; three daughters, Mrs. Hoyt Barber of Brattleboro, Mrs. Ray E. Tarbox of Marlboro, N. H., and Mrs. William H Hawks of Greenfield, and five grandchildren. He was a member of the First Congregational church and the Masonic lodge in Jacksonville, Vt.
