He was born in Weston, on December 2, 1946, son of the late Edmond Jack Campbell and Mary Eleanor (Werner) Campbell.
On March 23, 1974, he married Linda (Pietrantonio) Campbell, who survives. Mr. Campbell is also survived by three loving daughters, Tina Cunningham and companion, Mike Bailey, April Johns and husband, Billy and Elizabeth Campbell; three grandsons, Charles Bailey Lough, Jacob Dalton Johns and David Allen Cunningham, II and one great- granddaughter, Elsie Marie Lough. He is also survived by one sister, Judith Ann Kennedy; several nieces and nephews and his best friend, Gary "Caveman" Rittenhouse.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by two sisters, Cheryl Lantz and Mary Elizabeth Balentine.
Mr. Campbell was a plumber by trade and retired from William R. Sharpe Hospital. He was a graduate of Weston High School. His hobbies included camping, fishing, riding motorcycles and 4- wheelers and most anything to do with the outdoors. He also enjoyed making model airplanes but most of all he enjoyed spending time and doing things with his grandsons.
At his wishes and per his request, Mr. Campbell was cremated and private celebration of his life will be held at a spot of his choice at a later date.
