Aaron Mckee Macy
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, 1999, in the First Unitarian Church for Aaron McKee Macy , who died Oct. 20 in Oregon, Ohio, of complications during leukemia treatment. He was 29.
Mr. Macy was born April 1, 1970, in Portland, where he graduated from Benson High School. He received a bachelor of fine arts degree from the University of Northern Arizona and was a graduate student and teaching assistant at Bowling Green (Ohio) State University. His ceramic art has been exhibited in juried shows throughout the United States. He married Lynn Ackerson in May 1998.
Survivors include his wife; mother, Cheryl of Portland; father, J. Douglas of Portland; and grandfather, J. A. of Madras.
Disposition was by cremation. The family suggests remembrances to the Oregon Community Foundation for the Aaron Macy Memorial Scholarship Fund.
