Patent trader - Saturday, Aug. 17, 1968, Page 9: - PLEASANTVILLE - Longtime Pleasantville resident Harold H. Bayliss, 93, of 41 Orchard Street died Tuesday at the Somers Manor Nursing Home. Mr. Bayliss, who had lived in Pleasantville since 1912, was born In Brooklyn. He graduated from New York University in 1898 and was granted a civil engineer's license by New York state. Mr. Bayliss worked for Westchester Starrett Brothers & Eken of New York City and later for Fraser & Brace Engineering Co. of Meadville, Pa. Mr. Bayliss leaves two sons, William Bradford who lives in Missouri, and Ernest B. of Westchester, Pa.; two daughters, Mrs. Robert MacInnis of Pleasantville and Mrs. William H. True of Lake Placid, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Walter Crane , also of Pleasantville; 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Sunday at the Pleasantville Presbyterian Church. Mr. Bayliss will be buried at Milltown Rural Cemetery.
