Michael R. Belmont died in his home , 1815 Rutger, June 8, 1945, after an illness of several months .

Born in Utica , he was a son of Mary Pangotff Belmont and the late Alfred Belmont. He attended local schools and was associated with the Belmont Bros. Trucking Company . He was a committee man in the third district of the eighth ward and was a member of the East Utica and Oneida County Democratic Clubs.

About 11 years ago he married Nancy Pacific. He attended St. Anthony of Padua Church .

Surviving besides his mother and wife , are two sons, Alfred and Allen ; three brothers , John , fireman 1/c, at the Naval Air Station , Westerly , R. I.; Louis and John Belmont; and a sister Mrs. Joseph Di Sante , all of Utica .

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday from the home and at 11 from St Anthony of Padua Church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery .
