Private family services for Ethel M. Roberts, 85, of 2309 North Twenty-seventh, who died Tuesday at a local hospital, were conducted Thursday by the Rev. John Plekrell, Southminster Presbyterian Church, at Mountain View Funeral Home. Cremation and Inurement took place at tho Mountain View Crematory and Columbcrium.
Mrs. Roberts, who was born June 26, 1888, in Soldier, was the daughter of pioneer settlers, Fred W. and Alice Jordan. She attended schools in Gooding, Boise and Salt Lake City. She was a clerk in her father's drug store. Following her marriage to Guy L. Roberts in Caldwell on March 25, 1914 she became a homemaker. She had lived in Boise since 1912. The couple had celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary in 1964.
Survivor are her husband, Boise; a daughter, Mrs. John (Mary) Cook, Pullman, Wash.; a son, Jack L. Roberts, Plainwell, Mich.; a sister, Mrs. Peter M. (Marian) Jesness, Camp Sherman, Ore.; a brother, Fred Jordan, San Diego, Calif.; three grandchildren.
Her parents, a brother and five sisters preceded Mrs. Roberts in death.
The family suggests contributions be given to the Heart Fund.
