Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Dufner, 88, of Ladysmith died Tuesday, June 12, at home.

She was born in the town of Union, Eau Claire County, on August 14, 1918, the daughter of John F. "Jack" and Mary F. Miley. She married Harold "Duff" Dufner on June 3, 1950. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Ladysmith.

Survivors include her husband, Harold "Duff," of Ladysmith; daughters, Chris (Ron) Hagen of Rice lake and Kathy (Allen) Slight of Crawfordsville, Ind.; three grandchildren, Collin Hagen, Bryant Hagen and Laura Slight; brothers, William Miley of Clinton, Mo., and Michael Miley of Eau Claire; and sister, Margaret McCollow of Waukesha.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, John R. Miley.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, June 15, at Our lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Ladysmith, with Fr. Jim Bartelme officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Friends may call after 4:30 p.m. today at Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Ladysmith, where there will be a 7 p.m. scripture service.

Memorials may be directed to Our Lady of Sorrows School.
