Mr. Autry was the son of the late William Andrew and Mary B. Canady Autry. He was a retired physical maintenance supervisor with Lees McRae College. He was a commercial fisherman and the widower of Izona Terry Autry. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Ommie Barker, Mary Smith and Maggie Smith and three brothers, Wilbert Autry, Felton Autry, and Melton Autry. Mr. Autry of Woodbury Wellness Center, formerly of Holly Ridge died at New Hanover Regional Medical Center at age 78.
