Andrew Gene Brown of Pottsboro, Texas, 75 year old retired owner of B&B Service Center, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at his home.

An informal memorial service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, June 16, 2007 at Johnson Moore Pottsboro Chapel with services conducted by Carl Don Allen.

Mr. Brown was born on October 30, 1931 in Jean, Texas, son of Jack Hulet and Jewell L. Howard Brown.

After graduation in Kress, Texas in 1948, Andy farmed in Lazbuddie, Texas and married Doris Levina Clark in May of 1951.

He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He moved his family to Lubbuck in the early 1960's where he went to work for Methodist Hospital as Director of Engineering. He held that same position at Lubbock National Bank.

After the death of his wife, Levina, on November 26, 1975, he married Joyce Brown on April 10, 1977 in Lubbock, Texas.

The family moved to Pottsboro, Texas in June 1977 where he became co-owner of Texoma Outboard Marine. In 1983 he and his brother opened B&B Boat Sales. He later owned and operated B&B Service Center until his retirement in 1999.

Andy loved life and spent his time fishing and playing golf.

Daddy, Granddad, PawPaw, or Andy, he will be missed by all that know and love him.
