Valorie was a graduate of the 1968 class of Dade County High School and later was employed at the school as a Para-pro. She also enjoyed several years working in the Tax Commissioners office. A Baptist by faith, Valorie was a loving mother, devoted wife and will be missed my many.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Floyd Taylor, parents, H.G. & Savannah Hawkins, and sister, Cathy Hawkins-Sharp.
Survivors include her daughter and best friend, Kristie Taylor of Trenton, GA; several close friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 13th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ryan Funeral Home with Bro. Darren Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in Beene Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 11th from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and on Monday from 12:00 p.m. until the service hour at Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, Trenton, GA.
