Mr. Andrews passed away May 9, 2019 in Gainesville. He was born August 6, 1943 in Gainesville to George Henry and Bertha Mae (Martin) Andrews. He married Janice Dian Berend on October 15, 1963.
Richard worked many years for the city of Gainesville, retiring in 2002. He was an avid coon hunter and fisherman. He loved spending time with his family.
Mr. Andrews is survived by his wife of 55 years, Janice Andrews of Gainesville; son Ricky Andrews of Neosho, MO; 4 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law Troy and Diane Andrews of Healdton, OK; brother Butch Andrews; sister Juanita Snider of Woodbine.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter Deana Woodard in 1988; 1 brother; 2 sisters; 1 great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Cory Woodard, Brandon Andrews, Nathan Andrews, Cody Andrews, Austin Andrews, Camron “Tex” Woodard.
