She was a member of Seven Oaks Church of Christ and a retired employee of Merit Clothing Company.
Mrs. Clapp is survived by two sisters, Maxine Lamb and Freida Pritchard both of Mayfield, KY; one niece; and several nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Clapp; one brother, Mose Reed; two sisters, Dorothy West and Josephine Reed; and her parents, Bradley and Ruby Whitt Reed.
Funeral services for Mrs. Molly Frances Clapp will be 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 12, 2019 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Mike Baker will officiate. Interment will follow at Highland Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Shelton, Carl Key, Shelby Glisson, John Taylor, Randy Stevens and David Stovall.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 12, 2019 at the funeral home.
