Rose was born June 28, 1913, in Kansas City, MO. She graduated from Jane Hayes Gates Academy. . She married Albert Anch in November o f 1933. He preceded her in death in October, 2002. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Anna (Cacioppo) Malle; sisters, Kate Malle and Mary Signorelli; brother, Benedict Malle. Rose and Al had five children, sons, Benedict Anch of Myrtle Beach, SC, Carl Anch of Kansas City North, MO, and A. Michael Anch of Chesterfield, MO; daughters, Carol Schlitzer of Belton, MO, and Anita Tucker of Lee's Summit, MO. Rose had 22 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Rose was a member of St. Catherine's Church for 35 years where she was a member of the choir and a Eucharistic Minister. She also was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Auxiliary. Rose was a wonderful cook, seamstress and loved to play the piano. She was as beautiful to those around as the flower she was named for. Her joy, love and hospitality will truly be missed, yet she will remain an inspiration to all of those she touched.
