Mrs Jennie Florence Merriman, 61, died at 8 am today at her home at 1417 Mound St.
She was the widow of Charles E Merriman.
Mrs Meriman was born Dec 19, 1893, a daughter of Bennett and Lydia Warren Lyons.
Surviving are three sons, Carl B Martin of Canton, Buryl C Martin of Minford, and Ralph Lyons and a brother, Lyons of Stockdale.
She was preceded in death by her husband who died May 29, 1943, and a son.
Mrs Merriman had been active for several years in the Auxiliary of James Dickey Post, American Legion, and the Auxiliary of William Miller Post, Veterans of Foreign Wars. She was a past presidents of the VFW unit.
