Gary was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He died of complications from his exposure to Agent Orange in that war. Gary grew up in the Bronx, NY and Dumont, NJ. He worked in the automotive industry, first as a body repair mechanic and ultimately owning his own heavy equipment insurance adjusting company. Gary lived in Toms River, NJ for nearly 50 years.
