Dorothy A. Pickett, age 75, of Kirtland Hills passed away March 5, 2018.
She was born in Cleveland on January 25, 1943 to the late Fredrick and Margaret Schmidt.
She was a proud and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend. A tremendous loss is felt by all of those who were blessed to know her.
In her free time Dorothy enjoyed reading, bowling, golfing, sewing, cooking and traveling. Above all her greatest joy was her family especially her grandchildren. She was a vivacious and exuberant woman with a big heart.
Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, William Pickett; children, Andrea (Wes) Nichols, Deanna (Raymond) Paglio, Victoria (Eli) Antoon, Christopher (Jennifer) Pickett, and Ryan (Jennifer) Pickett; grandchildren, Ashley, Alexandria, Bradley, Halle, Elianna, Liam, Aiden, William, Gabriella, Isabella, Benjamin, and baby girl Pickett; and sister-in-law, Nadine Schmidt.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Felicia Waddell; brother, Fredrick Schmidt; and sister, Rosemary Krash.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's of the Assumption, 8560 Mentor Avenue, Mentor.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 9, 2018 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake.
