Mrs. Erma Meadows was born April 17, 1930 in Taylor County, GA, daughter of the late Ezekiel Boston Adams and Gussie Mae Schrimshire Adams. She worked as a Registered Nurse and Supervisor at Cobb Hospital in Phenix City for over 20 years and then assisted in opening Hughston Hospital in Columbus, GA. After moving to Lake Martin, she worked as a Home Health Nurse in the Dadeville, AL, area. Mrs. Meadows was a long-time member of Epworth United Methodist Church, Phenix City, where she taught Sunday School and served in the Prayer Ministry. She enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles and Auburn football.
