Christy L. Ames-Bauer, age 65, of Springfield passed away suddenly at Bronson Battle Creek on Saturday morning, May 18, 2019. She was born in Coldwater, Michigan on December 25, 1953, the daughter of Harry O. and Elsie L. (Smith) Ames, and graduated from Coldwater High School. Christy enjoyed sharing her strong Faith in the Lord with others. She also enjoyed shopping, reading, and spending time with her family and close friends.
Christy is survived by her husband, three children, five grandchildren, two brothers, two sisters, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Patty McCall.
Interment will follow at Fort Custer National Cemetery.
