Vanassa Dale Hardin, 52, of Carrollton, died June 13, 2007, at Las Colinas Medical Center in Irving. She was born Aug. 16, 1954, in Dallas to Lawrence Cecil and Delfia (Houser) Cotton. She was married to the late Gary Hardin, who died Nov. 27, 2001. She was a Homemaker.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 18, 2007, in the Chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, Texas, with Rev. Mark Dallalio officiating. Burial will follow in the Little Elm Cemetery in Little Elm, Texas. The family will be at the funeral home for visitation Sunday, June 17, 2007, from 4 to 6 p.m.

Mrs. Hardin is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Gates of Dallas and Amy M. Hardin of Dallas; a son, Gary Hardin Jr. of Carrollton; her mother, Delfia Cotton of Carrollton; sisters, Anna Glidewell of Carrollton and Celia Erwin of Wills Point; brothers, Edward Barber of McKinney and Cecil Wayne Cotton of Dallas; four grandchildren; and one step-grandchild.
