Melvin Eston Ayers, 47, Rt. 3, Box 202B, died in a Tampa hospital Thursday evening. A native of Worth County, Ga., he had been a resident of Tampa for the past year. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Gladys Ayers; five sons, George D. Ayers, Melvin E. Ayers Jr., Ronald M. Ayers, all of Jacksonville; Melvin Eugene Ayers and Robert Ayers, both of Orlando; two daughters, Miss Sonya L. Ayers, Miss Annette Y. Ayers, both of Jacksonville, and Mrs. Grace E. Dickson, Orlando; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Treloar, Jacksonville, and Mrs. Ellen Murray, Tampa; three brothers, Vernon Ayers, Tampa, J. D. Ayers and Woodrow Ayers, both of Orlando, and one grandchild.
