He was born Nov. 14, 1955 in Elyria, and was a lifelong resident of Lorain County. Abahazi was a dairy farmer and operated Abahazi Farms in LaGrange. He was a board member of Coba/Select Sire Inc., and past board member of th LaGrange Town & County Co-op and DHI; a member of the Ohio Holstein Association, National Holstein Association, Farm Bureau Association; and for member of the Youth Farm Bureau. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and breeding good cattle and showing them at the Lorain County Fair, Ohio State Fair ad other fairs. He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns.
