Bernard J. Farwell, a plumbing and heating contractor in Chicago for thirty-five years, passed away on Sunday at his home, 704 Jackson, at the age of sixty-five. He had been in ill health for about six months.
Mr. Farwell was one of the charter members of the Chicago Rotary club. In addition he was a life member of the Hamilton club and held memberships in the Lakeside Lawn Bowling club, the Chicago Master Steamfitters club and the Chicago Master Plumbers club.
Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at Ascension church with interment at Moung Carmel cemetery.
Mr. Farwell is survived by his widow, Margaret; three daughters, Mrs. Harry B. O'Donnell, Mrs. Eugene Goodwillie, and Jane Farwell, and three sons, Ralph, Walter and Herbert.
