Naranjo, Jr. She had ninety-nine grand-children, one hundred and thirty eight great-grand-children, and fifty six great-great grandchildren. Flavia lived all of her ninety-nine years to their fullest, touching thousands of people's hearts along the way with her strong faith & enlightened words. The capacity of love she had for our Lord and in her many children, grand-children and great-grand children is an inspiration to all of us. There must be millions of memories of her that we have collected in our hearts over the years. Some of us will probably remember her in her garden, kneeling to care for her plants. Some of us will think of her spirit and charisma and the way she always carried the cross of her life without complaints. Others will remember the times they each sat with her in her room and opened their hearts to her; Remembering the way she never judged, but always had the right things to say. But one thing we all remember is that Flavia Naranjo was always proud of her family and she will forever remain a woman of God. Special Blessings she received: Pope John Paul II in 1981; Emmo Sr. Cardinal Oscar Rodriguez & Maradiaga; Priest in charge Aureliano Santa Olaya in 2003; Anointing of the sick on June 2, 2007 by Father Remigious Ssekiranda.
