James C. Adair “Fatboy” age 76, of Rye, AR died Wednesday, May 29th, at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock, AR. He was born April 18th, 1943 in Warren, AR a son of the late Curt Adair and Maxine Groves Adair. He was a lifelong truck driver, driving for BBF Oil in Pine Bluff, AR for 36 years and for Adair Trucking for 10 years. He was a member of Harmony Free Will Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his first spouse, Paulette Adair, a son James C. Adair, Jr, and daughters Annette Adair and Angie Adair. James is survived by his spouse Kathy Adair, Rye, AR. Sons, Otto Adair, Rye, AR and Terrell Chapman, Rye, AR. Brothers Dewayne Adair, Rye, AR. Ronald Dean Adair, Warren, AR. and Danny Gene Adair, Rye, AR. A sister Shirly Hunter, Phoenix, AZ. 8 grandchildren and 18 great- grandchildren.
